SHOPPING INFORMATION

Everything that’s available to buy on the TheToyShop.com or elc.co.uk can be ordered in your local store and delivered to your home address.

Below is a list of frequently asked questions about this service, please ask a member of store staff or get in touch with customer services  if you have any further queries.

Is there a minimum spend level to use the home delivery service?

There is no minimum or maximum spend for this service but you will be charged for delivery on orders under £40. Orders over £40 have free standard delivery included.

Will a signature be required upon delivery?

Our couriers do require signatures for express delivery orders

If the courier attempts delivery and there is nobody available to sign for the parcel, they will do their best to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in another safe location.

Can I cancel or add something to my order?

Once your order has been placed we are unable to make changes to it. However we can usually cancel an order if we are notified within one hour of it being made.

How do I return an item?

Orders placed in-store are covered by the same refund and returns policy as normal store purchases. Please see our returns page for further details.

Am I able to order something in-store for collection in-store?

Unfortunately delivery is only available to your home or another personal address.

This means that your order has left our warehouse and is with the chosen courier.

If you have selected our express service, you should expect your order the following working day. If you have opted for standard or free delivery, you should allow up to 5 working days for it to arrive

This could be for a number of reasons. Have we got your correct email address? It’s not unusual for typos to be spotted! The other reason that you may not have had a confirmation yet is because a small number of orders are quarantined for financial checking. This is nothing to worry about, we just like to be vigilant to protect us as a business and, of course, protect our customers. If this is the case, your order should be released within 24 hours and the confirmation email will be on its way to you.

An order goes through many status changes. If you see that your order is ‘HELD’ don’t be concerned. It just means that it is going through a routine check and should be released for picking very soon.

Sorry, no, this isn’t possible. We can only accept one delivery address per order

PAYMENT INFORMATION

As soon as Paypal release the funds for payment, we will proceed with your order and send it out to you.

All payments are taken at the point when your order is placed. Some payment providers may carry out their own security checks which will mean that your payment is pending for a short period of time.

For online purchases refunds are issued back to the method of payment you originally used i.e. your credit or debit card, PayPal, Amazon or Gift Card

For store purchases you need to present your proof of purchase, if a refund is agreed this will be made to your original payment method or to a refund card if the original payment method is not available

The Entertainer is committed to competitive pricing and we regularly run promotions and offers. For this reason we don’t offer discounts.

If you’ve changed your mind about an item you will need to pay for the cost of returning it.
